Roasting this week: Butembo Natural
This week, we’re sharing the final coffee in our Butembo trio, from the Rwandan washing station situated on the shores of Lake Kivu. Throughout the series, we’ve explored three processing methods for the same coffee from Butembo, each revealing a different expression of this unique terroir.
Natural processing brings out deeper flavour notes in this last lot, a full-bodied, complex cup softened by red berry sweetness.
