Hi Lot,

It’s Kevin.

If you are finding it hard to stick to your routine this week, it is likely because you are trying to be "perfect."

We have this idea that a habit only counts if it is impressive.

This is the "All-or-Nothing" trap. And it is why most people quit in February.

Your brain hates intensity. It perceives it as a threat. But your brain loves consistency.

So today, I want you to try the "Non-Zero" approach.

Your goal isn't to do a good workout. It is just to do a non-zero amount of exercise. Doing 5 pushups is non-zero. Meditating for 30 seconds is non-zero. Writing one sentence is non-zero.

A "bad" workout keeps the habit alive. A missed workout kills the habit.

Lower the bar today. Make it so easy you can't say no.

Just don't give me a zero.
