Hi Jalskffl,
I've got a new lesson up for you today showing you one of the most iconic bluegrass guitar solos of all time.
We're gonna be jumping into Kenny Smith's 2nd solo to his classic tune "Studebaker"
Studebaker is to bluegrass players what "Cliffs Of Dover" or "Eruption" are to rock players: one of those iconic tunes with a memorable melody that every guitarist aspires to play at some point.
I've already done a lesson to the main melody (first break) of this classic tune which you'll find linked in the video description.
Today's lesson will focus on the second solo he plays to this tune and let's just say this............it's a barn burner!
Fear not though: I break each phrase down nice and slow for ya and make this bluegrass shred fest accessible.
