It was a thrill to talk with the brave, hillarious E Jean Carroll today! We discussed her trial against Trump for rape, WHICH SHE WON, her trial against Trump for damages, WHICH SHE WON. We talked about women and humor, our bodies, our age, our determination, our resiliance. We talked about dogs, hair and laughter. And she told me what she plans to do with the $100 million dollars Trump still has to pay her (hint: it’s to help other women). And the generous E Jean wants to help me publish the drawings I did when I attended and live-drew her trial against Trump. I showed some of the drawings from the trial in this video. You should read her book, Not My Type. It’s quite moving, and very, very funny. It is a book about fighting back and not giving up, all while laughing. At the end of the book, she is asked what she will do after roundly beating Trump (the only person to yet hold him accountable, fyi). She said, “go home and throw the ball for my dog.” I told her that this morning, in anticipation of our live discussion, I did this drawing. Thank you for being here, I really appreciate you and this community. See you tomorrow. Thank you Marshall Hopkins, Michael Maslin's Ink Spill, Laura Register, Ken Firestone, Mary Jane, and many others for tuning into my live video! Join me for my next live video in the app. |
