The European Committee of the Regions (CoR) is happy to invite you to its stakeholder's consultation on the Opinion 'Climate adaptation in cities and regions: building the European Climate Adaptation Plan', led by rapporteur Matteo Lepore (IT/PES), Mayor of Bologna (Italy).
The event will be attended by the European Commission (DG CLIMA) and
will bring together a diverse group of stakeholders, including representatives
from the insurance and private sectors, as well as city and regional networks.
The stakeholder consultation will provide the rapporteur with valuable insights to support the preparation of the draft opinion which will inform the European Climate Adaptation Plan. The draft opinion is scheduled for discussion at the ENVE commission meeting on 02 October 2025. The opinion is expected to be approved at the CoR plenary session in December 2025.
