We wanted to give you a couple of coaching staff updates.
For Boys Volleyball, Haley DeBok has accepted a new position with United Airlines which has forced her to resign as Head Boys Volleyball coach. Good luck Haley and awesome job getting the program off of the ground.
We have hired Jackson DeBok as the new head Boys Volleyball coach. Jackson was the varsity assistant last season and has been coaching club volleyball for several years. We look forward to Coach DeBok leading the Boys Volleyball program in the fall.
For Girls Lacrosse, Kelly Rice has resigned as she is moving down to the Virginia Beach area. Good luck Coach Rice.
We have hired Beth Pyles to be the new head Girls Lacrosse Coach. She is a Mount Vernon alum and former Girls Lacrosse player. She was the assistant last year and is looking forward to building the program up. We look forward to Coach Pyles leadership in the program.
For Boys Lacrosse, Bobby Bracey has resigned as Head Boys Lacrosse coach. Thank you to Coach for taking the program this season and leading them to more wins than they had had in recent seasons. The position posted yesterday and will remain open until filled.
All athletic activities are currently on their VHSL Red Periods. This year the Red Period is 2 weeks long. Any summer workouts will resume on July 7th.
