Phrasal verbs: they're everywhere in English. They're tricky, yes, but once you've learnt a few, it feels fantastic to finally use them in real conversations.

Until the moment comes when you confidently say, "I caught up on my friend at the weekend," and you see that confused look on someone’s face, followed by a gentle correction:
"Oh, you mean you caught up with your friend…"
