Bren Mar Park is glad to partner with families in creating the best possible learning environment for your child in the upcoming school year! As we begin the process of planning for next year's classroom communities, we welcome your insights and requests for consideration regarding your child's placement. This might include a request to be placed with or separated from a particular peer, as well as preferred traits you feel would best support your child's learning style in a classroom teacher. Please know that while we will thoughtfully consider all requests, the ultimate decision for class placement rests with the school, and we cannot guarantee specific placements. Your input is valuable to us, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective.
Submit your consideration request HERE.
All submissions must be received no later than Friday, May 30, 2025 for consideration.

Thank you for all of your baby wipe contributions, 4th and 5th grade parents! Our experimental printmaking unit was a success!
Currently, 5th graders are learning about contour line drawing and sharpening observational skills. 4th graders are weaving a pouch on a double-sided loom. 3rd graders are learning to make their own cardboard looms and weaving with yarn for the first time. 2nd grade has been working on clay animals and habitats. 1st grade artists are making an ocean collage with a woven background. Kindergarten artists are making a picture of an imaginary place by printing objects. Our multiage class has been working on collage and painting skills.
Consider checking out FCPS E-IFTA (link is: https://www.fcps.edu/academics/summer-learning-programs/camps-and-institutes-elementary-institute-arts-e-ifta) to continue to sharpen art skills over the summer. It’s a great program and the kids that have gone have really enjoyed it!
