Principal's Message

Dear Eagle View Families,

This week was filled with celebration, connection, and community! We wrapped up Month of the Military Child with a special lunch honoring our military-connected students. On Wednesday, these students also planted beautiful purple flowers in our front lawn with Ms. Morency—a wonderful way to celebrate their strength and resilience.

We were also honored to welcome Springfield District School Board Vice Chair, Ms. Sandy Anderson, for a special visit! Our 6th grade students did a fantastic job teaching her all about our House system, and she even got to spin the House Wheel—landing on the House of dreamers, Rêveur! Ms. Anderson also had the chance to visit several classrooms, including our preschool and CSS classrooms. We were proud to showcase the amazing teaching and learning happening across our school.

Next week, we look forward to celebrating Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week! Our dedicated and caring staff go above and beyond each day to support our students, and we are excited to honor them throughout the week.

Finally, don’t forget to join us for Slime Night, hosted by our Student Council, on Thursday, May 8th from 5:30–7:00 PM. Doors open at 5:20 PM. This fun family event will feature a variety of activities planned by our student leaders. Come out and support them while enjoying an evening of messy fun!

Slime Night on May 8th (Thursday)!

Eagle View Student Council is hosting Slime Night on May 8^th from 5:30-7:00! SCA invites you to join them for an evening of slime-making, competitions, and fun! This is NOT a drop-off event so all children must be accompanied by adults. Admission is $3 at the cafeteria door in cash or card. We hope your family will be able to attend! Wear your House colors!❤️
