It's been another great week at Oak View!
We enjoyed watching our Kindergartners perform The Three Piggy Opera. They beamed with pride as they showed off their acting skills.
We hope to see you tomorrow, Saturday, May 3, at the Fun Run which begins at 10 a.m. There will be lots of fun for all, including food trucks and music!

Walk, Bike, or Roll to School
We invite all students and their families to walk or ride their bike/scooter to school on Thursday, May 8.
There are two bike racks on school property that students can use to secure their bike. Please follow these guidelines:
- Wear a helmet;
- Lock up your bike;
- Know how you are getting you and your bike home after school.
Feel free to get together with neighbors and make your own bike train to school. Students need to make sure they ask their parents before riding their bike to school and follow all laws of the road. If you don’t have a bike, don’t worry, you can ride a scooter or even just walk to school. Participants can meet Mr. Hutzel at the back door (#6) by the playground for a small prize.

Your Input Matters: Share Your Thoughts on 2025-26 Class Placements!
As we look ahead to the 2025-26 school year, we want to ensure that we create the most positive and effective learning environments for all of our students here at Oak View ES. We value your insights as parents and guardians and invite you to share any information you believe would be helpful as we begin this process. Please understand that while we carefully consider all input, requests for specific teachers cannot be honored due to the many factors involved in creating balanced and successful classrooms.
Please submit your input using THIS GOOGLE FORM anytime through Monday, May 26. This timeframe affords us the time necessary to carefully review all feedback as we begin the placement process.
Thank you for your partnership and for taking the time to provide valuable information that will help us create the best possible learning experiences for our students in the 2025-26 school year.
Mark your Calendars: Last Day of School
On the last day of school, Wednesday, June 11, school will be dismissed two hours early.
