TOP OF THE AGENDA | Prince Harry tells BBC the King 'won't speak to me' over security issue |
|
| | Prince Harry said he could "not see a world where I would bring my wife and children to the UK" | The Duke of Sussex says he would "love reconciliation" with the rest of the Royal Family, in an emotional interview with the BBC in California. It came hours after he lost a legal challenge to regain security protection in the UK, which was removed after he stepped down from his royal duties and moved to the US. "I can't see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point," he said, adding that his father King Charles "won't speak to me because of this security stuff". In response, Buckingham Palace said the issues had "been examined repeatedly and meticulously by the courts, with the same conclusion". |

| Donald Trump looms over Australia's election | | Guy Algozzino at the rodeo in Western Sydney | Australians vote on Saturday in elections that will shape the country's next three years. Politicians would have preferred to focus on domestic issues - but Donald Trump's influence has shifted the conversation. |

| | Katy Watson, Australia correspondent |
|
| | In Western Sydney, Stetson-wearing Australians are sitting in camping chairs and swigging beers at a rodeo. "Tariffs are great," exclaims Guy Algozzino, who's dressed in a cowboy hat, a waistcoat and a bolo tie. "Trump's the best thing America ever had.''
In recent months, politics here in Australia could be compared to watching a rodeo. Every day has brought with it a sharp jolt that changes the dynamics of the campaign trail. Politicians have been thrown off course despite their best efforts. |
