Students studying for next SOL. (Estudiantes que estudian para el próximo SOL)
Happy Friday Bulldog Families,
What a week! There’s too much to list here, so be sure to ask your students about everything that went on — it was packed with excitement, energy, and Bulldog pride.
On Wednesday, we had a fantastic turnout for both our Art Exhibit and Community Event. Thank you to all who came out to support and celebrate our students’ creativity.
Then on Thursday, our fifth grade Bulldogs took a big bite out of the Science SOL exam — they crushed it! They’ve set the tone, and we can’t wait for the rest of our Bulldogs to show up and show out on their testing days next week.
Students will take the reading SOL exams on Tuesday (Grades 5 & 6) and Thursday (Grades 3 & 4). Please help them bring their best by making sure they’re well rested and on time.
Next week is also Staff Appreciation Week and we’re celebrating with Spirit Week. We’ll kick things off with Dress Like a Superhero Day on Monday and close it out with Pajama Day on Friday. Check out the flyer below for all the fun.
Sixth Grade Class Picture Day is Thursday, May 8. Make sure your student is dressed and ready to shine — details are in the flyer below.
We’re also gathering family input for next year’s class placements. Please complete the short survey linked in the School News section by Friday, May 9. Your voice helps us plan the best possible learning experience for every Bulldog.
And in honor of May the 4th, we’ll leave you with this: What do you call a droid that takes the long way? R2-Detour! |
