Weekly update for May 2, 2025

Dear CES friends and families,
On behalf of the staff at Columbia, I would like to share our sincere grattitude and appreciation for the wonderful Staff Appreciation Week this week. The wonderful PTA at Columbia has done it again! What a wonderful week of food, surprises, and love. Our staff is so very grateful to the PTA and all families who supported the staff of CES this week!
Speaking of our staff, we have an opportunity for two individuals to join the Columbia staff for next school year. We are looking for one Special Education Teacher and also a Public Health Attendant. If you, or someone you know, may be interested in hearing more about joining the amazing CES team, please see below for more details and email me at mastudillo1@fcps.edu or call 703-916-2500.

Earlier this week, Ms. Sansone and Ms. Alba teamed up together with students to test out a new STEAM activity using Lego Spike technology.
