A Note from the Principal

Dear Daniels Run Community,

It was a pleasure to see so many of you enjoying "Donuts with Dragons" on Tuesday morning. Your presence and enthusiasm truly made the event special. A Big thank you to our PTA for hosting this fun family event.

As we look ahead, I am happy to announce that next week we will be celebrating our incredible staff during Staff Appreciation Week. This year, our theme is “Celebrating Our Super Teachers and Super Staff!” It's the perfect opportunity to recognize the everyday heroes in our school who inspire our students and make our community shine.

This week is also a wonderful time to teach our children about the power of gratitude. Simple gestures like a homemade card or a flower from your garden can express heartfelt thanks and brighten the day of our dedicated staff. Let's come together to show our appreciation for all the amazing work they do.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in making Daniels Run Elementary a remarkable place to learn and grow.

Pre-K Program Accepting Applications for Fall

The FCPS PreK Program serves 3 and 4 year old students with a high quality, full-day preschool program with no cost to families at 78 Fairfax County elementary schools.
