We are excited to announce an upcoming change in our network infrastructure for Genesys Cloud services that will enhance the reliability, performance, and usability of our services. Starting June 2nd, 2025, Genesys Cloud will be reducing firewall allowlist requirements for inbound IP traffic (e.g. to Genesys Cloud services) from the entire set AWS CIDR block(s) to a static, global list of 21 IP addresses.
It's important to note that this change specifically targets the IP addresses needed for Genesys Cloud services hosted in AWS. The documented IP ranges for other Genesys Cloud services, such as Cloud Media, will remain unchanged.
Infrastructure, API
We believe this shift will lead to a more stable and efficient experience for our customer. By narrowing down the firewall rules to 21 specific IPs, rather than broad CIDR blocks, you'll gain more granular control and potentially enhanced security.
The list of 21 IP addresses have been allocated from the already required AWS IP ranges for use of Genesys Cloud services. Once this change is implemented, these IP addresses will never change and won't require any direct modifications to your existing firewall rules to maintain uninterrupted service.
On June 2nd, 2025, Genesys domains will begin resolving to the listed IP addresses.
Note: There is no customer impact.
